We all have times in our lives when things are difficult, or something is causing us concern or distress. Sometimes it can help to talk, in confidence, to someone professional and experienced, who won't make judgements, but will listen, understand and accept us as we are.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, with over 10 years experience and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I comply with the BACP Ethical Framework offering a warm, supportive confidential service for individuals.
Here to Listen, Here to Help
Each person responds to the events that happen in their lives differently. Your issue, what you would like to bring to therapy is the starting point for our work together. Talking with a therapist can help you understand how to manage difficult feelings, problems, conflict and distress. A way of exploring and untangling thoughts and feelings. It can help you to move on with your life in a more fulfilling way. Anger management, bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationships issues, divorce, eating patterns, child related issues and addiction are just some of the reasons for seeking therapy. You might not feel there is a specific issue, just an uneasiness and a desire to think about that.

I believe that at the heart of all therapeutic work is the relationship between the client and the therapist. I offer a calm, safe and confidential space, where clients can explore their feelings and experiences within a supportive professional relationship. My way of working is down to earth with a warm, open and accepting attitude.
